Here's a nice site: opensourceCMS[*1] . It lets you try out several of the popular CMS without having to install them yourself. You even get full admin access (apparently, they re-install everything automatically every hour).
Geeklog[*2] is also available there.
bye, Dirk

Thats a great service! Thanx for the link Dirk.
Hmmm - I must say that
e107[*3] looks like the maybe greatest CMS yet! That'll depend on a test soon!

I'd rather be good than clever - I'd rather have all facts wrong, than no reply whatever...

I am hosted by opensourcehost.com, the hosting service of opensourcecms.com, and I shold tell you, it's been great for many reasons, the primary being support.
Scott Goodwin, the admin, will preinstall the CMS of your choice (out of a choice of 30 or so packages) free. I must have been customer from hell, but he installed several different packages for me, incl. e107, Mambo, and various Nukes, while I played with setting up KenoshaOnline.net. When I settled on Geeklog, it was because it made my job the easiest.
The hosting side has been great. My package includes 10 domains, unlimited subdomains, unlimited databases, unlimited email accounts. I actually have a ton of them.
The system was down for 4 hours one time about 8 months ago due to a fire in the building cutting off all power. Never a burp since.
Highly recommend them.
OpenSourceCMS.com[*4] and
OpenSourceHost.com[*5] . From a happy customer

I used opensourcecms.com to choose Geeklog. It is a great site. I almost chose e107 but I got the impression (possibly incorect) that it was mostly the work of one person. Also the e107 home page was complaining of security breeches. I looked at Mambo but it seemed to big and complicated. I was drawn to geeklogs ease of use, speed, security background and active community. Opensourcecms.com was great in that it let me play with a few dozen systems without actually having to go theough the pain of downloading, installing and configureing just to try them out. So far, other than a few annoying missing features, I have been happy with geeklog.
