Ok today I tried to update the static pages 1.1 to ver 1.2, i did everything the install file stated, not all I get is
error
1054: Unknown column 'sp_pos' in 'field list'
If anyone has a resolve for this or has had this issue. please comment or email me
admin@groovemiami.com

I had this problem. Added the field myself and everything worked. I think you can run a SQL script that is included with the staticpage plugin located in
(geeklogsite)adminpluginsstaticpagesupdb.sql
and it should do the trick too.

Hi,
This same thing wound up happening to me when i tried to do the
same thing. The cause turned out to be that I hadn't read the
directions and so never disabled Static Pages in the plugins section
of geeklog beforehand. The only way for me to fix the problem was
to replace all the static page files i installed, with the originals and
then for me to delete the static pages table in mysql, then for me to
rebuild the table from scratch, and reimport all the data from my
backup. This got me back to a working geeklog site. Then I disabled
static pages and went ahead with the static page upgrade again. I
did all the mysql work from phpmyadmin. This maybe somewhat of
a drastic fix and may be the long way around, but it did work, with
no data loss. I would investigate other fixes first, but if they don't
work, try this.
