Hi!
I would like to set up my geeklog site that way, that non-moderators (logged-in users or anonymous) will be able to post a story with images and intro and body text. Now (default) they can only post a sotry with intro text and that is all. Of course - after they post a story, it should be submitted by the admin before gets published.
Is it possible to do that?

Image upload is only available to users with Story Admin permissions.
You could, however, add the <img> tag to the list of allowable HTML (in config.php). People then at least be able to link to images stored somewhere else.

Dirk's suggestion is best. If you allow anybody to submit images, you'll be hosting those images until they are deleted. This will kill your bandwidth, and slow down your site. Better to teach your users how to use the img tag... =)

Hmm, I know that could kill my bandwith... but probably it will be fine to have two features in future: possibility to post new pictures for some other group of users, adn verification of logged-inusers (that administrator can approve or disapprove users when they register).

The second feature you mentioned is already implemented. Set
$_CONF['usersubmission'] = 1;
in config.php. New users will then be listed on the moderation page and can not log in until approved by the Admin.

OK, what about new feature - how many and how big pictures can insert anonymous? I mean - if that will be possible (to have a special switch to turn it on/off) nad I am willing to take a risk - why not enable this feature?

Try it out yourself. With the img tag, I think they should be able to insert as many pictures as they want until they fill up the database field. There's no limit on size.
