Hey guys!I have a question (or maybe two).Is there a way to decrease the amount of stories presented on the main page (or actually in every section) and let the other stories only be under these like links? It could maybe be easy on the bandwidth and users and visitors maybe don't have to browse page after page to check all the new stories..Could one do like a RSS/RDF/XML hack here? I don't know any of these techniques, but it just hit me because of a friend complaining about browsing page after page to read new stories..Thank you guys for Geeklog! Keep up the wonderful work!Firat

RSS/RDF is probably a good way to go.
Offer multiple RSS feeds ( take a look at COM_ExportRDF() in lib-common.php, or wait for me to get off my ass and finish my GL plugin).
Adjust the function to generate an extra feed or two: 10 most recent headlines, 25 most recent headlines, and 25 most recent with full text. (substitute 10 and 25 with whatever suits the pace of your site).---Lucas Thompson, sardu@mac,com

The number of stories per page is set by $_CONF['limitnews'] in your config.php. Please note that this is only the default setting (for new and anonymous users). Registered users can set their own value in their display preferences.
