When trying to change the enabled status of the Who's Online Block on a very fresh install of geeklog, I get the following:
1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 's Online','','phpblock','0','','all','','','phpblock_whosonline',0,2,4,3,3,2,2,0' at line 1
PHP version 4.2.2
gl version 1.3.6
most other admin tasks work without complaint.

Had another look and it turns out that the default blocks with
apostrophes in their titles were causing the problems. I made a note of
the settings and recreated them with titles which did not include
apostrophes and all is well again.

I had the same error and that fix worked for me as well.
