I would like to have a expanding tree view menu running on one of the blocks but I cannot have it correctly setup.

I can't see why not.
If the script changes the size of the block, you need to make sure that the entire page is reloaded properly.

don't know about changing the size of blocks, but I've got java running in some blocks and it works fine.

Because I tried and it does not show anything... according to some of the guys at geeklog it is not working, unless you hack at it.

As of Geeklog 1.3.5sr2, you can't use the onXXX Javascript events any more because of security concerns (see the 1.3.5sr2 release announcement[*1] ).
Other than that, Javascript should work fine.

I'm including JavaScript that puts a list of recent Delphi discussions in a block, but it isn't working. Here's the script:

The block is empty.
Ideas?
