Hello,
I'm installing GL and like everybody else I'm encountering a problem with my config.php The thing is that I'm new at this whole thing, and therefore I have many wholes in my knowledge. Nevertheless, I try to do my homework by reading previous problems that people have and carefully reading the instructions... Somthing is missing, and therefore it displayes this error:
Warning: Access denied for user: 'futbolli_futboll@65.193.180.20' (Using password: YES) in /home/futbolli/system/databases/mysql.class.php on line 75
Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Access denied for user: 'futbolli_futboll@65.193.180.20' (Using password: YES) in /home/futbolli/system/databases/mysql.class.php on line 75
Cannnot connect to DB server
This obviously says that the problem has to be at the in the config.php I'm lacking on the knowledge to set it up right. Can anybody help me? Also, I've got another question that somebody could help me. When I set up the database, i put the username as Futbolli, and the password as Futboll, well, after it is setup dhe database name has been named: Futbolli_futboll. Is that right? What will my username be now? Futbolli, or Futbolli_futboll.. Just to be sertain, here is part of my config file:
$_DB_dbms = 'mysql'; // Currently only MySQL is support, do not change
$_DB_host = 'db.vevi.net';
$_DB_name = 'futbolli_futboll'; // Yes, your DB must exists before running installer!
$_DB_user = 'futbolli_futboll';
$_DB_pass = 'futbolli_futboll';
$_DB_table_prefix = 'gl_'; // e.g. 'gl_'
$_DB_mysqldump_path = '/usr/bin/mysqldump'; // path to mysqldump binary e.g. /usr/bin/mysqldump
$_CONF['allow_mysqldump'] = 1; // 1 = on, 0 = off
// +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
// | SERVER SETTINGS |
// | |
// | All paths must have a trailing slash ('/'). The 'path' value signifies |
// | where the config.php (this file) resides |
// +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
$_CONF['path'] = '/home/futbolli/';
$_CONF['path_system'] = $_CONF['path'] . 'system/';
$_CONF['path_html'] = $_CONF['path'] . 'public_html/';
$_CONF['path_log'] = $_CONF['path'] . 'logs/';
$_CONF['path_language'] = $_CONF['path'] . 'language/';
$_CONF['rdf_file'] = $_CONF['path_html'] . 'backend/geeklog.rdf';
$_CONF['backup_path'] = $_CONF['path'] . 'backups/';
By the way, I did not create a separate directory as geeklog, I just put it outomatically at the orginal source, which is HOME....
ANY help would be at most appreciated..
Respectfully,
Ilir Kuqi

looks to me like its not a problem in config.php, but a problem with logging into the SQL database.
check your username and password.
i'm no expert in that field, so from your description, i couldn't surmise your correct username and pass, but i'm pretty sure thats your problem.
