I couldn't locate a previous discussion in the stories, FAQ or mailing list, so ... what are the size limitations on images posted in a story? I got a landscape pic to work once I reduced it to 150 pixels wide. I couldn't find the exact limits to adivse users. This brings me to my next point. It seems only admins can post images? Am I not correct? I'm the only admin on my site, so I don't know if certain admins can and others can't.
While I'm occupying your time ... I've set-up geeklog (love it) within the last three weeks as an intranet site. I've made it so you can't do anything important without logging in, but I'd like to totally secure it. Currently anonymous users can view the calendar, polls, etc (all links at top of page, but can't submit). Any pointers? I planned to learn and customize the PHP to bring any non-logged-in user to a simple screen with nothing but username & password fields, but I'm a full-time accountant whose hobby is messing around with this stuff and that's why a weblog is great for me ... users generate content. So not so much time to do this.
Thanks in advance ...

The limits for uploaded images are hard-coded in system/classes/upload.class.php like this:
$this->_maxImageWidth = 300;
$this->_maxImageHeight = 300;
$this->_maxFileSize = 1048576; // 1MB = 1048576
And, yes, only admins (story admins, to be exact) can use images in stories.

On the security issue, I noticed the exact same problem some days ago. And since I need it, too, I may be fixing it (if I find the time) ...

With my understanding, if you include < img > as a allowable tag, users
can input their own images (hosted in another place, though). Correct
me if I'm wrong..?
