I just installed Geeklog on a new server and everything works and it rocks... EXCEPT I'm getting the following error above any articles page:
Warning: fopen("/home/tribalquest/www/main/logs/error.log", "a") - Permission denied in /home/www/tribalquest/main/lib-common.php on line 757
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/www/tribalquest/main/lib-common.php on line 760
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/www/tribalquest/main/lib-common.php on line 705
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/www/tribalquest/main/lib-common.php on line 706
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/www/tribalquest/main/lib-common.php on line 707
Please feel free to visit and you'll see what I mean: http://www.tribalquest.org/main[*1]
Any help is much appreciated. I'm wanting to edit the templates and .css files and launch this site within the next few days.
Thanks!
Obvious, is it not?

Well that error message
Warning: fopen("/home/tribalquest/www/main/logs/error.log", "a") - Permission denied
is pretty clear: It can't open your error.log
file for writing. Make sure you have set the permissions for the logs
directory and all files therein to 777
. It should work then.
bye, Dirk
P.S. It's all in the installation instructions ...

I swear I had changed the permissions to 777 but I went back and checked and sure enough the log files weren't set at 777 so I fixed that part. Now I just have all the other error messages to deal with (bottom 3 on the original help post). Any ideas?

Just to be clear I'm still getting the following:
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/www/tribalquest/main/lib-common.php on line 705
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/www/tribalquest/main/lib-common.php on line 706
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/www/tribalquest/main/lib-common.php on line 707
Since I'm not a .php programmer I have no idea how to fix the problem.
Thanks for the help.

It was all permissions based... I feel like a dope!
Thanks for the help.

Actually, the INSTALL file says 775; this tripped me up initially.
Some consistency in the docs and the INSTALL file would not be too
much to ask, surely?
