Does this integrate with the Geeklog Calendar ?
I.e. do events here show in the site calendar ?

no, events that you add to evList do not show up in your calendar plugin. There is no integration between the two plugins. And I don't plan on integrating them especially with Joe's many upcoming changes to the calendar plugin.
