This hack is usefull for sites where a new user goes thru the submission queue. It allows to add fullname to the newuserform, making the user more clear to the moderator.
It can be incorporated into GL core, if the maintainers agree.

ChalkTalk is a variation of the Simple Orange theme with a green, grey, yellow, and white color scheme. It was created by Landon Cox of mindfab.com. Updated for Geeklog v1.3.8 and v1.3.8-1.

As its name implies, Clean Black is a variation of Geeklog's Clean theme with a black color scheme. It was created by Chris Wade. Updated for Geeklog v1.3.8 and v1.3.8-1.

Blue Moo is based off the themes of Monkey Business and NukeNews. It is a blue, white, and green theme created by Andrew of fragglerock.org. Updated for Geeklog v1.3.8 and v1.3.8-1.

The core functionality of Geeklog does not give you an easy way to rearrange your blocks around. You have to edit each block and change the order number and wait for the page to reload, only to see that the order number "collides" with another and so on.

It allows for an easy change of translation files. It can display a block with a selection of languages (customized by the admin) and the all the user has to do is select his preffered language. If you've seen the Theme Tester, you get the idea.

This patch is for using mail functions in Japanese.
I added a 'mail_locale' variable for config.php.
With this patch you can send mail in languages which have different encoding for display and e-mail.

Currently only root users can remove comments on a site. This mod gives an admin the capability to grant others the same permission through the addition of two new rights: story.comment and poll.comment. The former will allow a non-root user to delete comments under a story while the latter one will allow him/her to remove comments under a poll. These two new permissions are automatically added to story admin and poll admin, respectively. The site admin can also give others permission by creating his/her own unique group and then assigning one or both of these new rights.

Updated 4images (Photo Gallery) Integration Scripts and Directions. Will integrate your Geeklog user accounts with 4images. Includes a script to migrate your geeklog members and create the 4images user records.

Reads the text for the Welcome Email (containing username and password, that new users receive when they sign up with a site) from a text file. This allows for easy modification of that email.

I had a need for a Block of link Categories. Here is my first attempt at creating a block. Everything appears to be working okay.

This hack provides a basic capability for an admin to ban registered users either temporarily or permanently on a Geeklog site. To use this feature, you first create a new group named "Banned" with the Group Editor and then add offenders to it via the User Editor. To ban those who hold admin positions (e.g. Root, Story Admin, etc), you must also uncheck (i.e. remove) all of their admin privileges in the User Editor. The hack contains a check to prevent Root Users from ever being banned.

Weather is a Geeklog plugin for displaying weather information made available from the National Weather Service (http://weather.noaa.gov). The Weather plugin is based off the Open Source phpweather project.

Contains dutch.php for Geeklog 1.3.8 (minor updates), filemgmt plugin, forum plugin (version rc2.2), menu plugin (version 1.6) and static pages.
There is a patch for the filemgmt plugin, to find the dutch.php anyway (see functions.inc)
