phpBB directory issue

This may seem like a stupid question, but I didn\'t see it explained in the Install document. You seem to say to install phpBB normally which would place it in a www.mysite.com/phpBBB directory path, set I\'m getting errors, and in looking at gl_functions.php, that seem to indicate that the directory path is more like www.mysite/geeklog/public_html/phpBB. Any way, that\'s the error I seem to be getting, as these snippets show

www/geeklog/public_html/phpBB/functions.\'
/system/gl_functions.php on line 29

www/geeklog/public_html/phpBB/config.\' geeklog/system/gl_functions.php on line 30

any ideas on what I\'ve borked?
