GL2 Feature Suggestion - Scheduling

Besides the problem for Windows users, there is the problem for those of us who use commercial servers.

On the servers I use I cannot run cron and I don\'t have telnet acess. All of my work on the server is done with FTP.

There ought to be a way for GL to provide a timer that aborts a function call if the result is not returned in a specific time period.
