1) Anonymous users have UID of 1

2) No you should be able to do everything you need to do in admin/group.php. The only thing you may need to do manually in the database is add a new feature (e.g. add a feature called myfeature.edit, myfeatured.delete, etc). Then in your code you can use:


if (SEC_hasRight('myfeature.edit')) {
    // User can edit myfeature.  do something
}

3) Create a group for your feature(s). Then edit each of your groups and be sure to add the Registered Users group to them. It's that simple.
