Is this a real community?

I am very new to geeklog but would nevertheless like to say this: Thank you to all at Geeklog.

I believe that posts of the type that started this thread are wholy inappropriate. If one has to ask things, then there is a way to do it, and this was certainly not one of them.

I appraciate greatly the effort of the whole open-source community, the philosophy behind it, the helpfulness of the people who do it and can undertand if they are sometimes fed up with answering repetitive questions (I know I would be too). What I believe has no place on sites like this is complaining but rather suggestions for improvements and offers to help.

I do hope to one day be able to help, but am affraid that due to my current lack of technical knowledge this is not possible right now (unless there are non-technical things that need doing - perhaps user or admin manual?). Will be in touch when I learn a thing or two and see if there is anything I can do. In the meantime - keep up the good work and let me know if you want any manuals done. Oh, yes. Am tester by trade, so maybe testing is something I could do too.
