Just in time for the new year: The first release candidate for Geeklog 1.4.0 is now available for download[*1] .
Quite a few bugs have been fixed, some minor improvements have been made, and so this should provide a much smoother experience than the beta. But still: Remember that this is not the final version yet, so if in doubt, you may want to wait for the official release in the not-too-distant future.
In the meantime, please help us squash the remaining bugs by reporting them in the official 1.4.0rc1 bug thread[*2] in the forums. And you don't have to install 1.4.0rc1 to do that, since the demo site[*3] has also been updated.
Those upgrading from 1.4.0 beta 1 will find a list of all the changed files in docs/changed-files. It's a rather long list, though, so you may want to simply replace all the files. And a special reminder for those using the Bad Behavior plugin: Don't forget to add that extra line to lib-common.php when upgrading.
