I've been a Geeklog user since 2002 and began contributing to Geeklog in 2003. I have been an active core contributor and plugin developer ever since.

My major work on Geeklog includes a huge scrub of Geeklog's database calls, doubling performance by reducing the number of calls and improving database indexing. I have also completely reworked Geeklog's comment system (see: http://wiki.geeklog.net/index.php/CommentAlgorithm) including the plugin API to the comment engine. I was the original author for the paypal plugin, used to turn Geeklog into an e-commerce site.

I participated as a mentor in the Google Summer of Code in 2009 and 2010.
