For the Geeklog installation on fsim-ev.de (a social website for the students of the university of applied sciences Regensburg) i've developed a private message plugin and a plugin where user can create groups with group internal dokuwiki-namespace and group forum.

I've created Metatags plugin for Geeklog-1.5.0 or later, which allows you to set different <meta name="keywords" content="..."> and <meta name="description" content="..."> in each of your articles and static pages. You can download it from here.

Dokuwiki plugin 1.5.2 is available.

DokuWiki is a standards compliant, simple to use Wiki, mainly aimed at creating documentation of any kind. It is targeted at developer teams, workgroups and small companies. It has a simple but powerful syntax which makes sure the datafiles remain readable outside the Wiki and eases the creation of structured texts. All data is stored in plain text files – no database is required.

When the user Tokyoahead has left the Geeklog community, he has handed over his Geeklog projects to me.

Therefore, after almost a year in the making, please welcome the reboot of MultiFAQ.

With a Geeklog v1.5.1 GUI (optional), I hope to make it the Mediagallery of FAQs.

Extending our business centred plugin suite, Nextide is pleased to release the nexTime Timesheet plugin for Geeklog and nexPro! nexTime is a full featured timesheet system which:
  • lets users to enter and track time entries
  • lets supervisors easily approve, reject and lock entries
  • allows administrators to set up management hierarchy so supervisors can only approve their own employees timesheet entries
  • allows you to customize the available timesheet activities, customers, projects and tasks
  • lets users run Excel reports by employee, project or task
  • is ajax enabled, keeping the interface lean
You can download the nexTime plugin from Nextide's download repository.
Nextide's demo site will be updated to include the nexTime plugin as well as our documentation repository also includes all of the nexTime documentation to get started.

Any issues or bugs, please post to our Nextide Plugins support forum. Please note that you need to download the free nexPro plugin and the nexList plugin to use the nexTime plugin.

Michael Hampton has been busy updating Bad Behavior, blocking new spambots and fixing the occasional false positive. Since the Geeklog version of Bad Behavior was a few revisions behind, I've made a new package to update the Geeklog plugin to the latest version 2.0.23.

glMenu 3.1 Available - Certified for Geeklog version 1.5

The glMenu v3.1 plugin is now certified for Geeklog 1.5 and available in the Downloads area at portalparts.com . This version has been tested with the final Geeklog release of version 1.5. The main issue that had to be addressed was support for the updated links plugin in Geeklog 1.5

Benefits of glMenu for your site include:

  • Online admin of your header and block menu
  • Easily create a multi-level menus that can contain any number of menu items
