When the user Tokyoahead has left the Geeklog community, he has handed over his Geeklog projects to me.

Therefore, after almost a year in the making, please welcome the reboot of MultiFAQ.

With a Geeklog v1.5.1 GUI (optional), I hope to make it the Mediagallery of FAQs.

Polls Plugin vs. Suhosin

We've had several reports from users who were unable to edit or delete polls. Typical symptoms were being thrown back to the list of polls, with the changes apparently not "sticking". In one case, the user was even told that he didn't have the proper permissions and was asked to log back into the site.

If you're running into this problem, check if you have the Suhosin patch for PHP installed on your server.

The problem, which only occurs with Geeklog 1.5.0 and 1.5.1, is that the new polls editor now has so many form variables that it runs over a limit set by the Suhosin patch. By default, that limit is 200 form variables, whereas the polls editor uses over 300.

Extending our business centred plugin suite, Nextide is pleased to release the nexTime Timesheet plugin for Geeklog and nexPro! nexTime is a full featured timesheet system which:
  • lets users to enter and track time entries
  • lets supervisors easily approve, reject and lock entries
  • allows administrators to set up management hierarchy so supervisors can only approve their own employees timesheet entries
  • allows you to customize the available timesheet activities, customers, projects and tasks
  • lets users run Excel reports by employee, project or task
  • is ajax enabled, keeping the interface lean
You can download the nexTime plugin from Nextide's download repository.
Nextide's demo site will be updated to include the nexTime plugin as well as our documentation repository also includes all of the nexTime documentation to get started.

Any issues or bugs, please post to our Nextide Plugins support forum. Please note that you need to download the free nexPro plugin and the nexList plugin to use the nexTime plugin.
