Welcome to Geeklog Thursday, May 23 2013 @ 03:05 AM EDT
Tom Willet has been hosting the Geeklog Wiki since its inception but has now asked us to find a replacement. Chris Chiapusio has stepped in and is hosting the wiki as of today.
Thanks, Tom, for hosting the wiki all those years and thanks to Chris for taking over!
Should you have any problems accessing the wiki, you may want to try clearing your browser's cache, or giving your DNS server or proxy a swift kick. If that doesn't help, let us know in the comments.
This new release addresses that issue and all sites are recommended to upgrade to this latest release which is now available in the downloads area.
The upgrade steps are to replace the changed files and run the plugin upgrade.
- public_html/createtopic.php
- config.php

Geeklog 1.5.2 is another maintenance release for the 1.5.x series. The first release candidate is now available for download.
This release fixes issues with the story preview and duplicate story ids, the trackback editor, clickable links in text postings, issues with feed updates, and some other minor problems. We've also thrown in some small improvements, e.g. the image quality when using gdlib to rescale images should now be much better than before. See the list of changes and the included changelog for details.
If you need help in setting up or using Geeklog, please see the documentation, the FAQ, the Wiki, try our search page or browse through the Support Forum. Chances are someone else already had the same problem.
More resources are listed on the support page.
If you still can't find an answer, feel free to post in the forum.
