Guys, Geeklog would conquer the world if you remember to make it as configurable as possible. Which points in the direction of increasing modularity and taking as much out of the core code as you can and putting it into modules or plugins.

I'm trying to add some new features to my geeklog, but I can't seem to find out where the session starts or how to capture the uid. Can you point me in the right direction?

Carlendar, polls and weblinks pluggins

Why don't you include the Calendar, Polls and Weblinks as pluggins in Geeklog 1.3. I think Geeklog should be only a solid weblog with all the add-ons as pluggins.
