The following plugin enables you to hide any part of the post which will become accessible following the password activation. In case user didn't pay yet, payment via SMS instructions will be offered.
You decide for how long or how many times password can be used in order to access the hidden content. All real time SMS are transferred to your server and stored in a table, activated password check occurs locally on your server.

How to use:

To hide content, put in page thus tags - [smscoin_rkey] Hidden text [/smscoin_rkey]

Plugin settings appear in admin panel.

Plugin designed for platform version 1.5.2 and higher.

To be able to use the following module you first must register as well as connecting to sms:key service.

Registration and setup process are absolutely free.

Hi,

What is the licence for this plugin? All file headers are empty and readme text says :
SmsCoin - VIP module based on sms:key.

Hello Ben!

Our plugins can be used only with SmsCoin services and they published on the proprietary license type.

Hmm, the Geeklog plugin itself will have to be under the GPLv2 or some compatible license, though. From my limited understanding of how smscoin works, this shouldn't really be a problem since the plugin is calling into an external service (which can be under any other license).

bye, Dirk

Geeklog is released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 (GPLv2 for short). This license requires that any code that is derived from GPL code (and distributed, e.g. offered for download as with your plugins) will also have to be under the GPL. In other words, you can not write a Geeklog plugin and publish it under a license that is not compatible with the GPLv2.

As I said above, this shouldn't really be a problem in this case, since the main function of your plugins seems to be to make use of the smscoin service. So the plugins use an API provided by smscoin and there is the no need to open source that API as well. But you will have to make the Geeklog plugins open source under the GPL.

I see that smscoin also offers a plugin for Joomla. That plugin should have the same problem / requirement.

bye, Dirk
