Most of my users would like the ability to add GL events to their home/work calendar tool (e.g. Outlook/exchange). So, this has importance to me and I'd like to gauge the importance of this to everyone else.

This hack and thread started by Toholio (I think) shows primitive support for the ability to push vCal files from the calendar. My thanks to jmucchiello for responding to my query here.

I wonder what the interest in the community is for vCal (or other?) event export formats to be cleaned up and perhaps incorporated into something supportable? If large enough it might warrant its own bounty.
