There will of course be a comments plugin that all other plugins can call I'm sure.
Another nice one would be a hierarchy plugin that everything could use (or perhaps this is a central tool). All it would do is create a simple hierarchical tree of ID numbers, that can refer to anything, and also perhaps incorporate TreeMenu to provide for calls for dropdown lists, tree structures, etc. h_id - id number of this hierarchical relationship c_id - id number of child item p_id - id number of parent Item type values can be added as needed. The links plugin could use this for categories, the thingstodo plugin could use this to create tasks and subtasks, the article plugin could use this to create multipart stories, and so on.
