Looking through geeklog's comment system I found they have a way for you to include the author's photo in the comments. To view userphotos in comments just open your /path/to/geeklog/public_html/layout/your_layout_name/comment/comment.thtml and place the phrase {author_photo} anywhere you want the photo to be displayed.
