The file management files are being uploaded with Apache as the owner. I need to download these files so I can move the site. I can't ftp files owned by Apache.

Can anyone offer a PHP script I can run on my site that will change the owner and the other permissions for file management data files?

Thanks in advance,

John Hughes

After I posted my request I remembered that Bharat Mediratta wrote a utility for Gallery that does what I need.

I've created a script using Bharat's utility that CHMODs all of the files in the data and tmp directories so that the files can be modified or deleted. (In my case, I need to download the directory so that I could move the site.)

You must be logged in as a file management user in order to execute the script.

You can get a copy of the script here.
