Any Help Would Be Appreciated

I've just downloaded geeklog...within the folder is a folder called "public_html" i uploaded everything in that folder to my public_html directory...but now...where do i put the rest of the folders? where does all of these go?

/backups, /logs, /language, /plugins, /sql, /systems, and config.php, emailgeeklogstories, install, readme

Thanks,
EnigmaZ

The default setup is to have the same path layout on your server as you'll find in the tarball. So put "system", etc. outside of public_html, on the same directory level.

Or you could put them all in a directory, say, "geeklog" (again, outside of your public_html).

Both setups will work - it's just a matter of personal preferences. And you need to be careful to set your paths correctly, especially in the second case.

There's a long section in the installation instructions trying to explain all that. Read that, and also the comments in config.php.

bye, Dirk
