GeekLog, phpNuke, PostNuke, myPHPNuke, XOOPS, myOOPS, Thatware and so many others... has anyone found some discussion or article which talks about the strengths and weaknesses of many or few of these CMS systems? Sometimes you have to wonder why there are so many that are so similar.

I haven't seen much articles that compare them, but I would very much like to read such an article. I've been working my way through the Geeklog code and system and encounter more and more functionality that I don't really like. But I doubt if there are other scripts that can compete. If anyone found any articles, please let us know.

What don't you like specifically? Is it too much for your needs or is Geeklog not behaving the way you expected? If you can tell us why Geeklog isn't meeting your needs there is a chance we may agree to implement some ideas you have. However, just stating that the more you read the Geeklog code the more functionality you find that you don't like doesn't help anyone at all.

Help us so we can help you!
