Staticpages 1.3.3
|
This is another release for my staticpages plugin hack. This version corrects a problem that some users experienced, in which backslahes were being appened to their code. This version appears to work for all users, however, please make sure you backup your code before using it. Extra slashes in existing pages will not be altered, but any new pages/modifications should work properly. Additionally, the plugin config file has beeen altered to show the proper version.
For those not familiar with my 1.3.x plugin, I modified the original 1.3 plugin (Not authored by me, but bundled with geeklog 1.3.8) to provide an additional PHP mode (PHP/HTML) This mode allows you to mix HTML and PHP in hte same staticpage, and allows you to use echo, etc... in your php code. |

Plugin Toolkit

A (very early, very alpha) release of the Geeklog Plugin Toolkit, intended to help plugin developers with creating and updating their plugins.
This release only contains the Plugin Generator, which creates a (fully working) plugin skeleton.
New in this release: table / SQL support; function templates for the search, autotags, and menu bar entries |

Testimonials
|
Testimonials is just that -- a plugin that will manage and display your customer/client testimonials.
The install script automatically creates a block that will show a different testimonial each time a page loads. A master page is also included to show all of your testimonials together. |

Bad Behavior 1.2.4-1
|
Bad Behavior is a set of PHP scripts which prevents spambots from accessing your site by analyzing their actual HTTP requests and comparing them to profiles from known spambots.
This is a Geeklog wrapper around the Bad Behavior plugin for WordPress.
This is only an update for the Geeklog backend which now lets you unblock an IP address from the Admin panel. Also includes a Spam-X module to automatically block spammer's IP addresses. The main functionality, i.e. the WordPress plugin behind it, has not changed.
Archive updated 2007-01-05 to fix a bug in the install script (accidentally required Geeklog 1.4.1). No other changes. Old file size was 38502 bytes, new file size is 38546 bytes. |

Weather Plugin
|
Weather is a Geeklog plugin for displaying weather information made available from the National Weather Service (http://weather.noaa.gov). The Weather plugin is based off the Open Source phpweather project.
Features:
o Displays customizable weather location for registered users.
o Displays a "default" weather location configured by the site weather administrator for anonymous users.
o Displays matching icons for the most common weather phenomena.
o Displays a brief description for the most common weather phenomena.
o Contains a detailed weather view for international locations and 7-Day forecast for US locations.
o Has built in MySQL caching and cache flush tools.
o Has a built in block timer for measuring the execution time of the block.
o Supports proxy servers.
o Attempts to make use of language files...needs more work.
o Supports both Celsius and Fahrenheit temperatures.
