The original Chinese language files in geeklog-1.4.1 are not so authentic. I have manually made the main language files and some language files for plugins, according to English and Japanese versions.
The package includes: "chinese_simplified_utf-8.php" and "chinese_traditional_utf-8.php" in the following directories: * language/ * plugins/calendar/language/ * plugins/polls/language/ * plugins/staticpages/language/ * plugins/filemgmt/language/ * plugins/links/language/

Thanks for joining in with the translation. I wish you had contributed your better version of Chinese translation a little sooner because I just submitted the Chinese translation for GL 1.5, which is based on the original 1.4.1 translation. I am not quite a native Chinese speaker, but I translated it because there is no Chinese participants in Geeklog that would help with translation. I am happy that you join. Please check out the 1.5 translation and make necessary corrections.

I am glad to do this work, Sam. My native language is Chinese and I can also speak some English and Japanese. I hope that it will bring more GL users from China just like Japan.

To Geeklog users who plan to use those Chinese language files:
I am shamed for the upper Chinese language files which was translated by myself, they are not accurate nor perfect. So recently I revised the language files, added some features, then made a Chinese version of Geeklog-1.4.1, which provide:
1. Chinese (simplified and traditional) installation.
2. Chinese (simplified and traditional) language files for GL-1.4.1 and some plugins.
3. Some localized setting for Chinese users.
This Chinese version of Geeklog-1.4.1 can be downloaded here:

I must say thanks to Sam Stone, without his work, I will never build this Chinese GL version.
