Is this a real community?

My reply was not to support anyone but to comment on what appeared an abusive post. No constitutional rights give anyone the right to abuse another anonymous or named. In 8 years of running lists and forums I have had this thrown in my face countless times. These sites are private and not given to anyone as a right and certainly not to flame or abuse whosoever it is against.

Why was this article even allowed to be published here then? His posts have done nothing, but flame the community. Once published, they are open for comments. I gave my honest opinion which is way more than you did. I don't give a flip if you agree with my approach. My constition gives me the right to argue a point in whatever fashion I want. No one can abuse or libel an anonymous alias which is what he and the others like him have posted under.
I'm tired of jerks like him who suddenly drop in with all these complaints and will not lift a little finger to help out. Before you cast a stone buddy, I have yet to see your name on anything either. Do not give me the line it is because 'I do not know php'. There are many other things a non-developer can do. You cater to the Filipino people yet have not contributed even a Tagolog translation. Perhaps if you move from the leech department into a doer you too would get irate with these jerks. I am active in another open source project and these non-do'er flamers piss me off. Until you become a doer, you won't understand the feeling of having someone else give you a laundry list of things to do but won't help out. Those of us who work on open source code are not your damn slaves.

Do not see what was done to inflame the community - was it not you who decided to name drop and done so hiding behind anonomity. We offer websites in Taglog, Cebuano and English for your info and have done for 8 years. I say again no constitution gives you the right to insult anyone. No one has inhibited your comments or moderated them so your so called constitutional rights have not be inhibited. My own comment was not to endorse the orginal poster's comment just the insult.
