Student applications for the Summer of Code have now closed. Thanks to everyone who submitted an application!
We were pleasantly surprised by the number (and quality!) of the applications we received. We will have a really hard time now picking the best ones out of the 50 applications we got.
In the meantime, can any students please keep an eye on their applications in the Google web app - we may have additional questions or comments as we review the applications. Thanks.

We don't know yet how many students Google will assign to Geeklog but it will most likely not be enough to implement all of the above projects. So in addition to picking the best students, we will also have to decide between these projects ...
