Welcome to Geeklog Wednesday, June 19 2013 @ 09:35 AM EDT
The mailing lists, CVS, and the project site (project.geeklog.net, including the bug tracker) are currently being moved to a new server and may be in a state of flux for the next couple of hours or days, depending on how things work out.
demo.geeklog.net currently seems to have a DNS issue - please peruse demo.spacequad.com if it doesn't work for you (it's the same site - spacequad.com is kindly hosting the demo site for us).
www.geeklog.net and the wiki should be unaffected by all this.
Here's what others have to say about 'Mailing lists, CVS, project site on the move':
The following comments are owned by whomever posted them. This site is not responsible for what they say.
The mailing lists are working (as you should know, you're using them). The URL for Mailman, i.e. the archives and sign-up pages has changed - we'll need to set up a forwarder. For now, replace "lists.geeklog.net" with "eight.pairlist.net" if you need to access Mailman.
CVS works, minus the anonymous CVS access (which also means that the nightly tarball isn't up to date).
The project site should be next ...
This is all taking much longer than originally anticipated. Sorry about that.
The project site is still down, but anonymous CVS is working again now, as are the nightly tarballs.
The mailing lists are working, but the list archives are not being updated for some reason.
In the meantime, if you need to report a bug, use the forums or the mailing lists please. Thanks.
bye, Dirk
