The Geeklog community members have released a second BETA version of the Forum plugin v2.8.0, which is now available for download.

Please note that this is a BETA release meant for testing only and not for production use.

There have been a small number of bugs fixed since the BETA 1 release. Please read more below for the full list of fixes.

Issues fixed since Beta 1:

  • Fixed use of multibyte functions
  • Fixed possible error when creating a topic
  • Fixed ability to delete messages on the Admin Messages tab
  • Fixed Anonymous users not being able to post messages in some cases

It seems to be working for me and I have notice others have downloaded the file. Is anyone else having problems?

This link http://code.google.com/p/geeklog/down..._1.6.0.zip produces a "500. That’s an error."

The server encountered an error and could not complete your request.

If the problem persists, please report your problem and mention this error message and the query that caused it. That’s all we know.

I very very sorry about same question asking many time. But did not get clear answer, so ask again. I there in forum Plugin 2.8.0 solved direction change issue? I mean is: I used to install forum last time, and never able to change direction RTL, so remove it.
If this time can change direction I want to install at once.

No not yet. We hopefully plan to have it for version 2.9.0
