AptitudeCMS 0.2.0 Released

AptitudeCMSThe third alpha release, AptitudeCMS 0.2.0 has been released. This update focused on theme development and now sports a proper theme manager that not only allows you to create new themes but also allows you to edit the template files, javascript and other web assets.

This released was focused on the theme engine to encourage those of you with a knack of making sites look good to give AptitudeCMS a spin. This release was ultimately inspired by our current not-so-pretty theme so we hope some of you Geeklog theme devleopers will try your hand at AptitudeCMS themes. We're confident you'll agree working with templates in Flexy will be much more enjoyable than the old PHPLIB engine. Documentation and questions should be directed to the AptitudeCMS site.

The official only offers an unnumbered alpha version. You made it sound like the software just had its first official release.

Yeah, that's my fault. However, given the first alpha was just over a week ago and the version number is 0.2.0 I don't think anybody had illusions it was production ready. Rest assured, when the first production ready release is published it will be 1.0.0. Anything under that can be considered either an alpha or a beta.

The reason people blame things on previous generations is that there's only one other choice.
