jQuery plugin 1.2 : Code highlighter and CKEditor

PluginsThe new version of jQuery plugin 1.2 has 2 new features: colorized code syntax and advanced editor CKEditor.

Syntax highlighter

Syntax highlighting of code by the jQuery plugin from Lars Corneliussen, based on the work of Alex Gorbachev, is one of the most complete diagram. It also provides functions such as simple and effective "View Code" in a new window, copy it to the clipboard or print it.

CKEditor

CKEditor is the result of the project FCKEditor, the advanced editor already present in the base distribution of Geeklog. To discover this new version, this variant was integrated into jQuery plugin for Geeklog.

Refer to the documentation in the wiki to learn how to enable these new features and how to use them.

Great job - I've been meaning to comment on this.

I think the CKEditor step is one we needed to take, but seemed nobody(myself included) wanted to spend time on.

also there is much jQuery functionality I think could be pulled into core including the highlighter and comment system.

Thanks for your time and effort ;)

It would be nice if there were more clearly written documentation for this plugin.

This (version 1.3.1) is not working for me (almost) at all. The editor is still the standard one, the [lightbox:] tag is shown but does not work, the code hightlighting (the main reason for me to install this plugin) does display the code in a formatted code box, but it is not hightlighting any of it (same as on the french geeklog example site apparently, where all the code is plain black) and whenever I try to add formatting options (like <code class="php"> or <pre class="csharp">) they get removed when previewing or posting the story. I have tried all kinds of stuff with the <code> and <pre> tags - nothing seems to work. So either I am too stupid to get it to work (unlikely) or it is not documented well enough to get it to work (as it is not working out of the box - more likely) - or it just does not work/stopped working with the 1.8.1 version of geeklog (no idea how likely).

It would be awesome if you could either enlighten me how to use it properly if it is just me being dumb - or if you could clarify weather it is working at all. I am sure you have spend a lot of sweat into it, but it is hard to feel grateful as of yet, as all it has done so far is waste my time (no offense). I am sure I could implement code highlighting somehow myself, but I dont think it would be wise to reinvent the wheel.

Hi everything is working on geeklog.fr
You can see Code highlighter on this page http://geeklog.fr/staticpages/index.php/Menu-color
This highlighter is not working on the dokuwiki pages.

Could it be a theme or a browse issue? Can you provide us a link to your site ?
