Don't mean to knock this plugin. These few lines of code...
------------------
<!--Start Cut and Paste Code (Patent Pending) -->
<script language="javascript" src="http://www.digitalwindmill.com/direct/directory.asp">
</script>
<!--End Cut and Paste Code (Patent Pending) -->

...placed in a static page will result in almost the same exact feature... I would like the solution eiter way but is it possible to open any link which links to an external page to open up in a different window? Both solutions tend to wipe out my page and is why I am reluctant in even putting it on my page...

Make it so it opens up any external links onto a new page and I will certainly take a thousand pages for a spin. Thanks :)

Go through the code. You can see where the links are all created. add target="_blank"> to the code where the links are made.

I went through it and decided I would leave it up to my users if they want to stay at my site. Right click gives them the chance to open in a new window.

I had no idea there was a Javascript that offered something similar. I like how customizable the script I used is. But hey each to their own.

This is nice! Not being very familiar with the Open directory,
this might seem like a stupid question....

Is there a way to present the directory in Spanish??

Thanks in advance!

If you open the dmoz directory to World: Espanol it lists sites written in Spanish. If you want the entire thing in Spanish, you could feed it through Babelfish's or Google's translation page for a butchered up version. hehehe

I would ask the developers of the code, you see all I did was get it to work with GL.

You can get hold of the developers from this site.

I found them to be very helpful.
