Hey guys,
If I could have all of you just take a second and go to
Country Web and vote in regards to your favorite forum layout. The results of this poll will most likely determine how the forum will end up looking and functioning.
Thanks a bunch,
Matthew

GL is badly in need of this so we can stop using hacked versions of other stuff. I don\'t need all the features of the other BBS\'s, start small and grow the code over time.
Just a thought.

The reason people blame things on previous generations is that there's only one other choice.

started a phpBB2 forum but didn\'t launch it, at about the same time
i started working with GL. I really want the features of both.
I don\'t need everything that phpBB2 offers. But for me, one of the
most important features of a forum is the ability to get an email
when a particular thead gets a new post. Then the discussions
don\'t \"die\" like you pointed out.
So I\'d really like to see something put up on this GL site, and we
can discuss it and let\'s get something live! Too many side hacks
going on; I\'ll feel much more confident when we can get a forum
that\'s part of the \"basic\" GL package, though a plugin included with
the package would certain fill the bill (like staticpages is included --
that works great)
Is there any \"release plan\" for this forum? Is it stable and ready for use or still under developement.
Thanks for reply
Buck
Same here..I have to decide between PhpNuke and GL. PHPNuke\'s new version will include PhpBB.
I would like to use GL with PhpBB.
There are a couple plug ins out there to make this combination..But they are not exactly what I want..
If I am not mistaking, the one which I like most is Tony\'s. But it is not the new version of PhpBB.
Thanks
Hakan
If you want phpBB, checkout Squatty's site. He has it integrated into Geeklog.

That is not what I want. They integrated by using iframe. It means you will have two scroll bar on the right side when the topic is longer than your screen size. : (
Still waiting for a solution...I could not make Tony\'s plug in work..
Thanks
